Officially in Hospice

Thanks to a number of folks at Angela Hospice working hard to pave the way, Jeanette was transferred there this morning (12/22.) We hope that they will be able to keep her comfortable as we go through this final stage of the journey.

Please contact Mark if you wish to arrange to visit her. Visiting hours are 24/7 but Jeanette isn't really capable of conversations at this point and it would really just be a brief hello and goodbye. I would absolutely not recommend children visit, either, as it may be uncomfortable for them (it was uncomfortable for Jesse, who is 16, and I haven't even tried with Michael.)

Thanks as always for everything all of you have done for us.

    Hello Mark...

God be with you and your family during this painful time. I know Jeanette will find peace as she travels from this painful existence into her new found home that has long been created for her.

May the God of hope fill you as well with a sense of peace...

Lord, we look to your precious son this Christmas season to welcome Jeanette to your side. May his grace abound in this family in their time of need and provide all this family needs...We entrust Jeanette to you as you take her home with love and care. Ease her pain, and please make the transition as pain free as possible.

    In God's name we pray...

    Amen...

    God be with you Mark...

    Mark,

    Thank you for the update.

I know you have so much going on right now, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Having had relatives at Angela Hospice, I know Jeanette will get the best possible care available. I have seen other places and their staff are truly the best, very professional and very devoted.

I would like to visit briefly, but would understand if that wouldn't be possible. If you could contact me (313.231.0750) to let me know, that would be good. But your top priority is taking care of Jeanette, your family and yourself. The rest of us are background, but know that you all are in our thoughts constantly!
