My dear friends,
Mark is typing for me once again.
I ended up staying in the hospital until Tuesday. I took every test under the sun. I am halfway through my ten day radiation stint; they are radiating the spine. I'm very happy to be home from the hospital.
When we first got to the hospital, we were put in the "express admissions" area of the Emergency Room, but it still took six hours to get a bed. The hospital is a scary place for me because of the constant testing and waiting for results.
Although I am not a morning person, I have to leave for radiation at 6:45 a.m. every morning. The actual radiation takes two minutes, and doesn't hurt at all. I haven't noticed any improvement yet in my hand function, but I am hopeful.
Another bit of good news is that the MRI they took of my brain came back clear. Everyone in the family was delighted to hear that news.
I meet with my doctor on Monday to discuss chemotherapy changes.
Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Jeanette & Family
